My mother likes to hit me, it makes her feel better. Most of the scars on my legs and arms are from her. When I was younger I always thought she was sick, she would beat me and then the next day ask where I got the bruises from and to be more careful when playing outside. Then she was the best mom ever, always hugged me and kissed me. I knew something was wrong with my mommy and every time she hit me I told her it was okay. Now that I'm older I realized she knew what she was doing because after it was over she'd apologize, and become the mom I always wanted. I don't tell her it's okay anymore, I don't speak, I don't make a sound. I let her hit me and call me degrading names. Then I cry myself to sleep.

I don't know how old you really are but if your under 18 you need to seek help dear. Talk to an adult you can trust. They do not need to be someone you know well only that you can trust them. Please if you are 18 get help and get out.
Most of all please seek counseling for help to deal with this once you are safe. There is a whole world of pain there for you and it is ok to need help to deal with it and overcome it.
