Genuine Smiles

So i was at work the other day (I work at a Subway) and saw a previous regular customer. I say previous regular because i went off to college for eight months and worked at a Subway before which I came back to but in a different location than the original one. So seeing a familiar face really brighten up my night. They actually recognized me first since I was waiting on someone else and wasn't looking up at the time. They asked if i used to work at the other Subway and I of course replied with a yes and a smile. They were adamant and said "I knew I recognized that smile!" That to me is the best compliment I can ever receive. Although I smile a lot each one of my smiles are genuine and shines in my eyes. We than chatted as I waited on them asking where I've been and encouraging me to stick to my choices about school. Just like old times so friendly and fun, and it was still the same sandwich order! When they left they said that they would make sure to only visit my current Subway. It was a great feeling to be appreciated. Little things matter so don't forget to smile!
