I Think That People Need To Be Taught Mobile Phone Etiquette
I love technology and all but I feel like it has completely ruined human interaction. I can't remember the last time I've held a conversation with someone without their cellphone going off or without them answering a text while I'm talking to them. I try to be polite about it, but sometimes I just want to rip the phone out of their hands and throw it across the room.
I try to be considerate and ignore my phone when it rings if someone is talking to me and wait until the person I'm with leaves the room for a moment before I answer a text.
Ugh, and those people that have their cellphone glued to their ear in the check out line that yell at or ignore cashiers while they're talking on the phone. If I'm on the phone in a check out line I always make sure to put the person on hold for a minute and greet the cashier and wait until I am done checking out before I continue my conversation.
Lastly those people that scream at whoever they are talking to in public. I personally don't want other people to hear the conversation I'm having so if I must take a call wherever I am at the moment I make sure to speak in a voice that is loud enough for the person on the other end to hear me but not loud enough to where everyone around me can hear.
