I agree a good personality is more important than good looks,it,s nice to be goodlooking but if you are not loving and have kindness in your heart you haVE NOTHING.lOOKS are nice as long as you are loving to others and kind.BE humble with your looks and you will get a lot futher than you think, anyway looks are only skin deep. What you are inside means a lot more. cm

I agree...a song by the Northern Pikes comes to mind, 'She aint pretty, she just looks that way'...and it applies to men too.

I loved "Shallow Hal" just for this reason alone. But alot of emphasis in Hollywood is on beauty and money. I can see both sides. As an ugly duckling growing up, all I wanted was the attention of men. I actually did turn into a swan and I hate it when men approach me or speak to me in public for any reason. (They always wait until my husband goes to the restroom or I'm alone). If they think I'm a ***** because of it, I'm sorry. I don't like it. Men used to get arrested for being "mashers". Isn't that what they called them? But I digress. If I had to choose, and I did...I'd go with personality every single time. Been happily married for 21 years!! And his personality has never grown old or wrinkled up!!!!
