I Do

I didn't have the highest respect for this medium, when I was a journalist and whist I admit, I still watch it at times.  I do really hate the news and do see their agendas.

The current economic recession.  Yes it is happening, but must it be every headline.  We like to keep informed but the way in which this is presented is fear mongering. Many journalists are commenting that they are thankful for it, as they have nothing else to report on.   Awfully and disgracefully so, they also said this about the Tsunami, in the newsroom i worked in at that time.

So how to fill up a news programme- speculate, create fear, go out and pester people about their finances as they are out shopping, further that fear.
