Its a fact. I think ALL women are beautiful (and that includes me..
my mother, sisters, aunts, and friends and other dear people God put in my life deliberately...)

A friend and I pondered one of life's most perplexing questions.

Are 'UGLY' women attracted to other 'UGLY' women?

I suspect I've already opened up an UGLY can of worms with this one. :P

First, you might ask, what is UGLY exactly?

I don't know the correct answer to that question either. I have my own definition of UGLY, just as you have your own.

Secondly, 'UGLY' is a harsh word and its not in good taste to call anyone UGLY! I really mean "unattractive," but UGLY is so much easier to type!

I think people dont like to see things the Good old fashioned way any more. For example when you tell someone: 'God made everyone beautiful', they roll their eyes and dont really care/take the trouble to try and see it that way.

According to the merriam-webster online dictionary 'beauty is the quality of being physically attractive or the qualities in a person or a thing that give pleasure to the senses or the mind.'

Janice an old friend, told me her story once: " there were never any problems with my forehead, my head, my ears, or any of my facial features or parts of my body—at all. I had thought that my forehead, head and ears were problem areas because I was teased about them when I was younger, but were they really that bad?'

I didnt know what to say. I mean I had similar problems, but i didnt agree with Janice's childhood friends. Janice to me, was one of the most Beautiful women i had ever met. And among the nicest too.

what about the fact that  models are chosen less for their attractive faces, and more for their poise, confidence and ability to "talk to a lens like they owned the moment"? Models are just like clothes hangers giving us an idea, as to what an outfit would look like, even before we buy it.

But lets face it... to be a model you have to fit the requirements and specifications of a model. And lets face it not all women can be models,,, and its a pretty normal thing, which makes it okay I guess! Just because you are not a model doesnt mean you are not pretty! And not all models are pretty! Just look at the way people tear away at them with criticism, and compare every one of them to the other...people act so childish when it comes to all this..I'm happy im not in a profession where people like my face and my body but not my heart or my soul. Or my mind, thats like loving
some lifeless twig.

models are just like clothes hanger...:p very true

Outer features don't matter at all, what really matters is what resides within.

It is well said that, "beauty is not skin deep". I would give a simple illustration without offending anyone. Both Bar Girls and Actresses are beautiful in look but what makes the difference is their personality. Therefore appearance as well as personality makes the beauty...

And a thing of beauty is joy for ever and everyone.

beautiful words,,,:)

I think as we mature we really begin to understand what beauty truly is way more than physical...."Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself"....Coco Chanel

i love that quote too...I see proof of it every day here.
