Your Eq Is 153

Results: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

Seriously though, your whole "Don't Worry, Be Happy" philosophy is really what defines emotional intelligence.

You're warm, open, and very optimistic. You know how to act appropriately, even if you don't feel like it.

You are a good communicator, and you have little difficulty with personal relationships - even when you're dealing with difficult people.
In general, you are successful, capable, together person. You get what you want out of life.

Surprise, surprise mean, nasty anti-feminists. LOL - no I am not a liar and the results make perfect sense when you consider my profession.

I would love to see the results if anti-feminists like DozerDan, Knightrunner, LAV25, Michelle0001, theadvantageoflife, and newjaninev2 took that test. I bet that the results I am guessing they would get would turn out to be true. They undoubtedly would then claim the test is stupid and has no validity.

I am sorry Jones47. I accidentally deleted your comment (my computer has been doing weird things lately that I am not telling it to). Here is the response I was writing when that happened:
I have noted that it is not uncommon for people to be brought down by events that are beyond their control that they cannot escape. I tend to not let them bring me down unless they actually end up affecting my life, or the lives of the people that I am close to, in a negative way.

I have witnessed people becoming very negatively influenced and brought down by politics, certain ideologies, society's economic struggles, and other things that have not, and may not, directly affect them in any way. They get sucked into the "this is gonna make things really bad for everyone" predictions even though it may not turn out that way.I usually suggest that if they are obviously becoming severely depressed, irritable, and sad that they distance themselves from those things by limiting watching news channels, and reading newspapers, magazines and books that focus on the issues that are causing their depression and sadness, and feelings of hopelessness, and that they instead devote their time and energy to exercise, meditation, socializing, their family, and other positive things that will bring them happiness instead of sadness and frustration. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and when it doesn't they often need to also begin taking medication to bring them out of their "funk" because their emotional difficulties aren't just a result of their thinking, but are also a result of chemical imbalances.
I know what you mean about how traveling can make you realize how negative we are in the states. It amazes me when I go to countries where survival is more difficult, and people have to struggle more not only to have a successful and good life, but just to be alive, but they are more positive and happy than we are here in the states. It has lead me to conclude that for some people being somewhat spoiled, and not having to struggle as much, can often make them more negative because they become so used to getting everything they want and having an easy life, that when for one reason or another they can't get everything they want, and have everything the way they want it, and when life becomes a little bit more difficult, they become extremely irritable and negative and project it on to other people in various ways, which just increases and spreads the negativity.
