Golden Rule

Is there really any other way to be?

Why would you even feel justified in treating someone as though they were beneath you? And if you are putting others on a pedestal and groveling at their feet, you are disrespecting yourself, and that isn't good, either.

Couldn't be more right. " And if you are putting others on a pedestal and groveling at their feet, you are disrespecting yourself, and that isn't good, either." I never thought of it that way

:)

When someone treats me like I am beneath them, it takes me a while to decide what to do. (I hate confrontation.) Usually I ignore it if I don't see them often, but if it's someone I have to be around for long periods of time, I will ask them what their problem is. If you word things right, it can lead to a civil conversation and a happy solution. :)

You could be right. That's sad.
