    I guess it's a fine balance. There are times when it's called on to be social but the pleasure is then sought in the solitude. I can fully understand this. Thanks for sharing.

    that is unfortunate... hope you find healing through reading what other people have said about their experiences in life and that you will be the same guiding light to others once you've figured out how to deal with the "great sadness"

    i have lived my life as an extravert, a social butterfly, a leader at times, and a very givign person. now I am trying to live the intravert life and it is hard. i kind of feel forced to go against my nature but it is because of one too many hurts, one too many betrayals, one to many people stabbing me in the back. as a 'decent' person I cannot treat them in the same way they treated me, i simply can remove myself from the world. in a twisted sort of way, i am treating others as they have treated me by removing my light from the world just as they have takin the light, hope, and faith in humanity out of my world.
