Advice For Dealing With The Loss Of A Loved One

Sweety the best way is to allow yourself to feel any emotions that arise, do not rush yourself to feel better soon, and make sure to fill your time with positive activities even if you dont feel like it. Excersise and moving and getting fresh air will do you good aswell. Talk about the person you miss if there is no one to talk then write about them or draw or paint or what ever it is you find works for you. Find a way to honor them when you feel sad, guilty, or as though you cant go on. Light a special candle in a special place alone or with someone who misses them too and cry and reminise and say any unsaid words you want them to hear. Everyone is different and hurts and heals in different ways so it is also important not to listen to anyone who doesnt understand or have compassion for what you are going through. Learn about the spirit word if you dont already know and believe that your loved one is somewhere else because there really is no final death in this life, meerly we transform from one being to another, and begin to rewrite our lives again. Do what ever it is that you feel you need to do but keep in mind that the greiving process takes anywhere up to 24 months... If after 24 months your are still suffering on a daily basis please contact someone in health care to help you and educate you on what has happend and how to get through. Good luck and remember... They do walk beside us when we need them, but other wise they are living their new lives somewhere over the rainbow, no pain, no tears, and all that happiness inside them that they have always deserved to feel :)
