Just Because I Don't Answer

Doesn't mean I don't understand, although it's always nice to have a verbal response when asking a question and expecting an answer to confirm that I do understand.  I observe and analyze what I see and try and understand and interpret.  I notice more than most people and it always comes in handy.  Faint hints and clues, trace accents and word usage, underlying means don't always come easily, but  have more of a grasp on them than most people think I do.  Some people feel compelled to explain things to me based on how little I say or how I look, but I usually know or understand, but I let them explain anyway because I don't want to be rude.  I know they're just trying to inform me in case I don't know, which is the case sometimes.
