I will be starting Copaxone any day now. The needles are in my fridge - the nurse just has to come to my house to get me set up.
My husband wants to give me the shots - I'm not sure I want him to, I don't want to get too dependent on him, he already picks up so much of the slack in our household.

I have never had a problem with breathing. I did have a problem with the "burn" for a short time...but that went away. The new needle has made a big difference.
I won't rotate the injection to my stomach.
Injections are just a normal everyday thing for me now. I am very lucky, my husband gives me the injections everyday.

I had the difficulty breathing reaction one time fungirl, it felt like a heart attack and it was terrifying, Im grateful I only have experienced it once.
I've done better with the red skin reactions, but what happens now is I can tell every single place I've administered a shot. My skin in polka dotted.
No one ever tells you that!

My sister in law takes this medication to help control her multiple sclerosis. Do you find that for about half an hour or so after it is injected that you have issues breathing? She also looks like she is sun burnt sometimes from it but she says this is normal.
