I'm In A Jam.

I'm in a relationship of two years and we've come to a crossroads.
She smokes and I hate smoking. No matter how many times I've told her to stop she ignores me.
Lately, the feelings I've had for self harm have come back, and coupled with my fear of being left alone - when the latter happens, I self harm.
So the other day my girlfriend saw the injuries and told me it stops or we do, so I agreed to try to stop on the premise that she stop smoking.
Guess who I caught smoking the other day?
Ugh, I don't know what to do about it.

I think that you completely missed the point. At no point did I say I self harm to make her quit. I also never insinuated that if she keeps smoking I would do it to spite her.
