No it doesn't. I was never close with my family members, not even when I was a kid. I always thought that people who looked like you, had the same genes, were the only people who you could really call family, but I was wrong. I have recently became friends with a girl I met here on EP and we have hung out a lot in real life. She introduced me to her family; Her dad and her little brother. Since I first met them I've liked them, and my friend told me that her little brother told her that I was like the brother he never had. They are like my family now, they have cared about me a lot more than my real family have. And its not just them. My roommate is also like a family member. He's like my dad and bug brother mixed into one.
