Love It

I've lived in the Netherlands for a total of 10 weeks in my life, and I've been to Amsterdam about three times, maybe a total of 4 weeks.  It's one of my favorite cities in the world.  I love the culture, the laid-back attitude, and I think the Dutch are some of the friendliest people in the world (as well as being extremely attractive).  I've eaten at The Supper Club, which was great, been to a few clubs, walked through the red light district, visited Anne Frank's house along with the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, and, naturally, partaken of some of the more "herbal" pleasures the city can offer.

I really hope I get a chance to go back there sometime.  It is a totally underrated destination.  I hope it survives global warming, but who knows.

I mean... every city has gut it's ugly sides, but I wouldn't think of amsterdam as more dangerous than any other zoo....

I'm going for a day in january! I went last January too, it was a pitstop on our THIMUN trip to The Hague, so we spent the day at Anne Frank's house and in the Dam Square. It was great, I can't wait to go again! We went to the Escher Museum in The Hague, but this time I'm trying to get everyone to go to the Van Gogh. Fingers crossed!

I hope so, too.....
