I Don't Like The Word "boyfriend"

I mean I don't it sounds really babyish to me for some reason. I never liked the word it sounds really weird...I want a male companion who shows me lots of affection, who I'm VERY attracted to, who will take me places and show me new things/people. Cuddle with me, watch movies with me, talk to me about everything, share touching moments with me, the list goes on. I sound so needy but I really am craving for a male companion.

Ironically the title of the post just after you was 'Looking For Companionship', EP Link, I think it contrasted nice with your title.
Anyway I agree, a boy is generally a young male and personally I dislike the term with a passion, but like many things in life this is just how things are and we need to adjust.

I am expecting you to be a man person and not a boy person, the only way you will find such a guy is by going after him yourself, consider it a quest. And luckily for you I will give you a hint on how to tell the difference between a boy and a man from first glance. A boy will seem very open and welcoming when you talk or approach him, a man however will shut you down on several occasions, to the extent that you might feel rejected, this is not an actual rejection but a feint one, the more he will like you the more he will ignore you initially, however, if you manage to get to the relationship phase you will find him very loyal and supportive.
Boys on the other hand are just to have short term fun with and discard, this is what they want and this is how they act, I know because I was a boy once.
