I Want a Closer Walk With Jesus
We must endure great hardships for God just as Jesus did for us. He was despised and rejected my man. It was a many of days he suffered sorrows. Just as us we endure daily from one place or another disappointments, burdens, troubles, unhappiness, grief, mourning, regrets and worries. (Isaiah 53:3)
Sometimes we may wonder why we go through these situations. I had an example of a situation this morning. I was sitting peacefully in an empty class room at school for over an hour and ½. Reading the “Word of God” and he was assuring me that the things I have been encounting currently are necessary. I was about to leave the class because I had a class in like 20 minutes. People started coming in one by one. I know that the presence of God was in that room the first person was a young man. He was so sweet and humble. I asked him was a class going to be in the room he said, “Yes mama.” Shortly after that a women came to the back of the room where I was sitting on a row about four tables long and she stared at me so hard I begin to pray against that spirit. I know it was an evil spirit because of her actions I could discern it. I mean she look like she wanted to slap me as she slammed her books on the table beside me. I just quietly and respond less prayed. She did not stop her actions she went out the room as if she dared me to be there when she came back.
Being a Christ like example we cannot allow demonic powers to provoke us to responds. I didn’t open my mouth I acted as if she was not there. Yet I continued to pray silently. She came back a few minutes later right before I was about to leave with another female. She still had the look in her eyes as she stood at her seat where her books where. I was leaving and as I went to walk away she slide her books over to the seat I was in with the other female.
I gathered it was because I was in “her” seat. It is simple things that cause people to miss the mark. Simple things that should not even be they are and God’s people have to deal with these things because in (St. John 15:17-20) says that these thing shall be. It also informs us why we experience encounter. Don’t allow people to steal your joy. Don’t allow evilness to move you to give in to it. Don’t be provoked by the adversary! Let your light shine does not require us to necessary speak but to demonstrate by standing for Christ within our self in everyday situations.
