New To Ep, Would Love Some Friends To Talk To

Hey guys, I have joined this website a few months ago and never really did anything with it. I don't have many friends, while growing up i moved every two years so I never had a real long lasting friendship. If anyone would be willing to talk and possibly become friends, or at least be cordial and say hello, and just being personable.  Again I have just returned to the site and would love if anyone would be interested to give me some tips ans tricks as to how to navigate the website and get the most out of this website.

    Hi Jackilane, Welcome to EP!



    I first want to say I read your fear about being alone. You are still very young to have that fear, family history or not. You will never be alone here on EP. There are so many nice people to chat with. :)



    I would start by browsing the experience groups or searching for a few that really resonate with you. Join them, read the stories and comments and reply to them. Write your own stories too. Post questions, confessions.. Say whatever comes to mind. Don't worry about being judged for telling the truth here and don't be coy or say things to try to fit in. Be absolutely honest. That's the only way you will really start connecting with people. Soon you will find you have a lot in common with many people and you'll start making friends.



    Enjoy your stay here at EP and if you want to drop me a line, I'll always write back. I'm 43, married and working through issues with my wife. That's what brought me to EP. My friends here have kept me sane and made me feel worth something again. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
