I'm Lucky to Have My Mother-in-law

Sure, my mother-in-law usually thinks her way is the best and can be quite stubborn, but I know she is only trying to help and give advice. In the moment I may not be able to realise that and can get angry or upset, but I definitely realise I have plenty of reasons to appreciate her! I could not wish for a better mother-in-law. She treats me just like her daughter and is always willing to help me in any way she can. Even if it may not be something I like to hear, she knows I need to hear it and will tell me. She supports me in almost everything I do and is not one of those crazy mother-in-laws who are afraid of their son being stolen away.

Thank you Papaya. Alzhermer's disease is such a thief! I am comforted with the fact that I did have her in my life as such a positive force and I have wonderful memories. I just miss our conversations and the fact that her great grandchildren have to see her like that. They will only know of her love and thoughtfulness by what we can tell them about her. <br />
Have a great day!

Thank you. I have a wonderful Mother in law. She raised a wonderful son. I am so sad that her mind is declining from Alzheimer's. I miss her so much! I am so sad by the blank stare I see. The light is on and she's not really home. :(
