May I ask you if you are vegetarian or vegan then? After all, you can't really love animals, but eat them ya know? Heck, I don't even love animals, but I don't think I should be the one to put them through cruelty or have them to be killed when I don't need to eat them to thrive

No I'm not vegan I eat meat and selfishly put aside my feelings for the animals I realise that, however I don't think I have the will power to stop, cruelty to them however I absolutely can't stand

Only you can will power. Believe me. Watch that speech I linked you to. It's amazing.

If you can't stand the cruelty that goes on to these animals, why would you support it? Don't make it hard on yourself. I have been vegan for 3 years and I'm here to help struggling veggies and share my experiences. You'll never know what you are capable of, unless you just put first put your foot forward :)

I don't want to watch the link ignorance is bliss in that respect. :(

Why though? I don't understand why you would continue to support something that you know is wrong o.O There is always room for change :) If you were the one suffering, wouldn't you want people to look at the truth for you, so they could aid you? The truth may be hard to see and take that first step toward, but ultimately it can be the most liberating feeling in the world. The speech wows a lot of people, I really think you are just a quick away from stepping into a new world that opens up new connections of compassion, love, bliss, and liberation :)

Me watching that speech isn't going to change what happens I love all animals except spiders reggae, but it's just not what I wanna hear before I sleep sorry

Of course it will :) By less people supporting the industries, there is less demand for the slaughtering of animals. There has been an explosion of vegans lately and all of us have been pushing for veg options. People are also becoming more aware of animal concerns too and mercy for animals has done A LOT that has been successful for these animals. I think they were the ones that have helped phase out gestation crates.

LOL but if you watch it before you go to bed, you have something to sleep on :) I think I watched it around nighttime when I first saw it...though I was already vegan. Still wowed me though :) Don't cut yourself short. I know you're better than that.

Your never gonna get every person to go veggie

No matter how persuasive u are

This isn't what this is about :) We all want a more compassionate world right? Well, we do have to be the example after all.

No, I'm not going to get the people in the artic regions to go veg likely, but I will do what I can to encourage those here to go veg because it's very doable in developed countries with plenty of access to fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, non dairy milks , non dairy spreads :) We've come a long way already and I think it would be in line with your values to start along the road of a compassionate new journey :)
