I Don't Know, But Love The Idea.

I love tattoos and am desperate to get one.
But I want mine to mean something. I don't want to be part of the vast crowd who have them because they think they're cool.

I consider my piercings an enhancement of whats already there. I think of a tattoo the same way. I don't want to get one and regret it when I'm 70. I want to love it and love it until I die.
This is why I'm stuck with what to choose.
At the moment I'm considering three. But my dream is a sleeve however from a long term life consideration I can see it being a barrier to potential work and other important things. Piercings at least come out but a tattoo is a lifelong commitment.

A few smaller ones would make me satsified because I can hide them.
Upper right arm- Celtic Armband
Lower left leg (calf)- undecided
Lower right inside arm- Celtic cross

But I am struck by the fact that if I get the one on my inside right arm, I'd have to hide it the same as if I got a sleeve. So that wouldn't make sense. The only difference is that I'd want the sleeve on my left arm not the right.

I went past caring what people thought when I got my piercings so any tattoo I get is for me and no-one else. My parents and frinds accept my piercings but consider them foolish so I don't have anyone to persuade but myself.
