Being Wanted

What is truly needed in this life is a woman or man who not only allows your touch, but welcomes it and misses it when it is not there..sex is not a need, intimacy is, and sex is just how it looks to the world outside.

Great post wishformore. I do agree with you..

Every episode of sex should leave the couple feeling as if they have gained something...some piece of the other, no matter how tiny...
To feel that your life has been made better..even a little bit...by having made love to that particular partner at that particular time...
That is why making love, however temporary or passing, is much more than *******!

I couldn't agree more...it's sad when you are in a relationship and are wanting...unfortunately, too many of us are...

I couldn't agree more... If my marriage still had intimacy the sex wouldn't really be an issue...
Without intimacy it's slowly disintigrating into nothing...

I agree that intimacy...is the main thing we crave. Sex is just the icing on the cake!

Yes, it is very important to be good friends first, anything else is just gravy.

It is also hard when you are around people who are obviously loving and affectionate with each other.

This is so true. I crave intimacy.

Me too. I know how you feel. The last time I had a sexual encounter with my wife..or really ANY physical affection, I was 37 years old...I am now 57.

I agree completely. I'd be able to survive on just intimacy without sex, but I have neither....
