If someone is touting a certain belief or book on a website, I don't see how people who disagree get so worked up. It seems to me, that the people crying "intolerance!" are the most intolerant. This is a website where atheists can declare their atheism, why they're atheists, and that theists are full of baloney. The same opportunity is there for theists. I've seen criticism coming in all forms from both sides, although from my perspective, it seems that the hardest criticism comes from the atheists or those that seriously dislike the Bible. That may very well be because I'm a theist.
Just for the record, the Bible is a book that contains 66 separate works of poetry, history, letters, prophecies, and stories in general. Yes it contains sex, violence and misogyny. I ask the age old question, " So what?" If someone wants you to base your life on a certain book and you don't want to base your life on a certain book, doesn't that settle the matter?
