'm 27 and feeling like children will never be in my future. I feel too old.. So many people out there are having children they don't want and here I sit childless and wanting.

  | Posted Oct 12th, 2007 at 4:48AM A few years back, whilst in a maternity ward, I noticed that most of the women were in their early 30s!!! I think you've got a little while left yet. Would you ever adopt, if you didn't find yourself in a situation where conception was an option?   |
 Feeling blank | Posted Nov 21st, 2007 at 11:32AM I am 27 too and I feel the same way! I am like damn why does everyone around me have kids and I don't. And I have always wanted them. I think I wanted to be a mother before i even knew what i wanted to be in my career. it doesn't help either that i am married and my husband has had two kids before we even got together. We never have had protected sex so i really don't understand why i still haven't gotten pregnant cause obviously nothing is wrong with him. as cosulation i am constantly told that people have babies when they are ready emotionally financially and everything because child rearing is not easy. I don't 100 percent believe that myself but I would say even though it is stressful just see it as a blessing for now and get other aspects of your life as perfect as possible so you can be the best possible and secure mother when that day comes. +2 nods |
