You Taught Me The Ways Of Love

You gently taught me the ways of love .
What it was like to be loved.
When i resisted, you never failed me.
You picked me up when I fell.
You dried my tears.
You said I inspired you, that i was your muse.
You opened a whole new world up for me
You told me you loved me.
Not the way I love you.
Is this how Love works?
Did you forget a lesson or two?
