Black Bird

Little black bird,

come back to me.

Why do you fright so bad,

when I just pass by?

Little black bird,

so small,

yet so strong.

Will you return to me?

Little black bird,

Fly as you might so fast and far.

Yet to return the very next day,

for a meal well missed,

Thanks to me again.

not that i know much about poetry but i like this.

Great symbolism and I love how you called out to yourself to return to who you once were. Great piece!

Oh ok, interesting!
That's neat how you can put that much depth into one small poem!!! :D Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks really. Glad ya liked it.

Good question. The bird is a symbol actually and an actual bird. So both yes its strange. Honestly more of a symbol though.
I wrote it thinkin of how I ran from myself and things around me. Isolated myself and am just returning to the world now. Still half in the world and half out.

Oh thats a cool one! Is it about an actual bird or is the bird a symbol?
