I have smoked for 6 years. My boyfrends father has smoked for 40 years. We both quit using the same method. A book called Allen Carr's Easyway to stop smoking. Let me tell you, I laughed at the idea in the begining but it works! No cravings! NO snacking on sweets! No mood swings! My boyfriend still smokes, (the little bugger) but I did it.
It really works. I didn't suffer when I went out drinking with all my friends (who ALL smoke), and Iv been through really hard times since I quit and not having a smoke didn't effect me at all. I feel really great. The best tip I can give is that you must WANT TO QUIT. If you are only doing it for other people it won't work. But if you want to stop nothing can stop you! Good luck!
