Yes..love my cats...could not do without them...they are mostly outside cats ...save during the winter. I live in the country...my cats keep the moles out of my garden, keep the snakes away..in the spring time they often lay a small snake on my back steps...as you all probably know they bring their kill to show you.

So long as they're polite Cats and they floss.

There's nothing worse ( well, almost nothing) than a cat with bad dental hygiene - that, or a Cat that hasn't been properly potty trained. Either one is a bit too much to endure. However, I do enjoy photos of kitty cats. :)

Just kidding... Cats are good people. :)

In which way do you mean cats, the small 'domesticated' creatures that claw you and sneek in your house to upset my dog, who has actually caught a cat and ate it, it was very distressing for me and I guess for the cat too or big cats, I love Tigers, they are my favourite animal, I love to watch the big cats on TV running to catch their food and lazying around in the sun, they are amazingly beautiful.

    Does that answer the question?

I'm not really a cat person though for some reason they like me.

Dogs are my choice of pet. Dogs have masters, cats have slaves.

    yep...  love cats.

i have a male, Maine Coon. Hes a big guy... weighs about 20 lbs or so.

loveable and goofy too.  acts more like a puppy than a cat.

takes a beating from my 3 yr old grandson. He wrestles and lays all over him, and the cat just lays there. Then, licks the daylights outta him!

The children have always had cats... the one we have now is Samson. the last two went outside to do their business they never meow in the house,... always walk to one of the doors and just stand there till someone lets them outside ... no litter boxes to change.... But my youngest has downs when he was maybe three he would zap one a week always buying new microwaves

Yes. I had Misha and Egypt. God rest their souls. The kindest most loving cats i ever knew. Loved everybody. Now then, O'Sara bin Laden, or Sara, is mentally challenged. I love her to bits, but she is dumber than a bag of rocks.

My dog thinks she's stupid too.

It is my opinion that cats are too independent-minded and snooty.  They only love on their schedule and asking them to do a trick is out of the question.  On the other hand, dogs are always loyal. They come when you call them.  They're always glad to see you when you come home.  Even if you have to discipline them.  They come right back with a smile.  They are trainable and the really smart ones can really perform a lot of neat tricks.  Dogs rule, I don't care for cats.

I LOVE CATS!! My cats own me. I have been blessed with two..a black barn cat and a pedigree Ragdoll. I've recently just lost my mom to breast cancer and my two cats have given me such joy and friendship through the hard times.

Kittens are adorable and if I saw a cat all alone on the street like dying, I would so pick it up and be like, 'God I love you!" but otherwise, I'm really more of a dog person. Cats are too independent and don't seem to shower people with love, and I'm one of those people who love coming home after a crappy day to get smothered with love from my dogs. Cats just puke up on the floor, damn them, and have way too much hair, and make funny noises. And my school just put on a production of Cats the musical, and after having to pretend I was a cat and run around in uncomfortable spandex, I really don't like cats.

If anyone's seen that "war" between cats and dogs on an internet blog (where the cats wear hilarious helmets made out of oranges), I would be fighting on the cat side.

    I'm all for feline power!

NO ! I want those cute, friendly animals at a safe distance as I am allergic to these soft critters. And keep your cats away from my bird feeders please.

I would have to say no. I am completely allergic to them. I can't be in the same room with them. I think that each cat has a different personality but over all, they are not that engaging.

YES I DO LIKE CATS VERY MUCH BUT I DONT LIKE THEM IN MY HOUSE. I'VE HAD CATS IN MY HOUSE BEFORE AND THEY LIKE TO SHARPEN THEIR CLAWS ON MY FURNITURE AND THE CAT HAIR IS ALL OVER THE HOUSE AND I DONT LIKE EITHER ONE. SO IF IT WASNT FOR THOSE THINGS I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A CAT.

Well I would never hurt one and I'd be toxic if I ever saw anyone else hurting one, but I can't say I particularly like them. I'd certainly never have one. I much prefer dogs. And pretty much any animal other than birds! (ew birds!)

To me, there's 2 kinds of cats. The ones that ignore you completely other than meal times (like the tabby we had when I was younger) and the kind that pester you constantly and are way too needy. I'd rather the first kind but both seem like kinda pointless pets.

Yes - I love my new companion he is 16 weeks old and has done wonders for my depression and moods.  He greets me when I come home after work and definitely makes me feel not so alone in life.

He is loving and special.  I look at him and thank god every day for bringing him to me.  He was meant for me.  Onyx is my special friend and one cute kitten as well.

This is the first question of the day I have answered because I didnt know how to answer any others but I love this one, thanks EP.
