when i am just w/ myself. no distractions no people

The safest place I could be is in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. Here on Earth I find comfort in the arms of my loving wife.

I'm very safe just being in my own apartment. Nobody bothers me here. I can eat when I want to, go to sleep when I want to and take care of business when I want to. Get sick and this is where I can rest at peace.

On an I beam 200 to 300 feet up, No one comes up there just to mess with me.

Thats way I love my job.

inside a nuclear bunker!

Honestly, I gave this some serious thought and I don't have a safe place. I tried to think of some physical place on this planet that I feel safe and there isn't a place that comes to mind. I read your comments over and again. There is no such place for me. I'm not even sure what it would take to create such a place.

I have two safe places. One is wrapped up in the blankets on my bed. The other is the arms of a friend. I only have one friend I feel perfectly safe and calm with.

my small but cozy art studio (which is really just a spare room in my house).

my home

Oddly, my safe place is a basement. I am terrified of tornados and storms, and for some reason when I am in a basement, I feel like I'm sheltered.

home

My safest , most comfortable place is in the dead silence of the night, when I have just barely woken up enough to realize I've been sleeping and I can see, in only a few seconds after my eyes have adjusted that I am not alone. I look over, and in the crisp moonlight streaming in my bedroom window I can see his face. His eyes are closed and his chest is rising up and down slowly, he's dreaming of something that he'll tell me about in the morning and laugh about. I kiss his face, thank God he's there and doze back off.

It depends.....if at home, then my bedroom, usually zoning on the computer, door closed and with my stuffed animal Max for me to cry to.

If I'm at work........then the tool corral, you can almost always find me in the corral, one way in, one way out. It's really like my home away from home, it is my safe place eventhough work may not be. I've been known to go there on my day off just to feel safe.

In my husband's arms

it changes over time- home, my best friend's presence, my bed with the fan on and cuddling with my stuffed elephant, "elmore." sometimes in front of the tv watching "golden girls" will keep me calm and feeling safe....

Home is where the heart is.

I am a survivor of multiple sexual assaults and one rape. For years I've lived in constant fear, believing that I can never be really safe, that it will ALWAYS happen again and it's just a matter of time. He assured me when he found out that I am always safe there with him and he won't let anyone hurt me ever again.

Way deep under the covers pulled way high over my head!

Being married for several years, turning 32 this year, having my own children and many miles away from my mom and dad. I still feel safe and comforted when I go "home".

a hole in the sand where i can put my head in. **pecking at ground**

my safe place is a positive place. Its not an actual place but a place in my head. My place is beyond peaceful ,beyond quiet, beyond life. There are no thoughts, no sounds, nothing. I can see nothing hear nothing and feel nothing. It is where i rejuvenate, where i feel calm and complete. My safe place is meditation.

Home is my place of safety.

When with friends or family I feel safe, no matter where I am

In the Master Bedroom. Nothing can ever happen in their it seems. Unless my 7yo son actually spends the night at his grandmothers.

The safest place to me is by my sisters gravestone. That's where i go when i simply can't think anymore. It's a place of memory and for release. I can feel without guilt. It's a place of truth. It's a place of love. It's a place of safety.

In this world anywhere my family is but my safest place is yet to come

Obscurity.

The safest place is in my Heart, know that I have God in there, and He takes care of my needs. He see that I have a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and the clothes on my back. He has the Love and understanding no man can Give. When , and if I fall down, ( and that's daily), He is there. My needs may never be the day when I need them, but God knows when and if I needs them. We, live in a country of Freedom, a Freedom to Want, and a Freedom to Give, but when we Wan some thing what does it Cost us$$$$$$, we worship the almighty $, Our Freedom cost us(US), US soldiers, we are spreading ourselves thin, We are the security forces for All of the World, Iraq, Afganistan,South Korea,Haitai, whose watching our borders? We may have the Freedom to Give but at what cost? It's costing us trillions of $ of money we don't have, and it keeps on going up. I love the Freedom to Want, but I want it to Stop, its costing me nothing, because I Want, to keep God in my Heart, and Peace in my mind, and Give the Love that my God can Give YOU, and that cost nothing. There is no Price to pay, Jesus has giving you that Price, HIMSELF, so I say the SAFESET PLACE IS JESUS.

My safest place is in the strong arms of the man I love. He is my buffer against the world and when he holds me I feel protected, loved, and safe from harm.
