Escaping, ...running wildly through the forest with only a pocketknife, the smell of pine and the crisp cold snow.

I try to avoid them before 5 pm. Before dusk they give me social problems.

I was going down the stairs... And I ran straight for the dining table because there were dolls and a huge chocolate cake. I think it was my third birthday =) fun!

Getting in trouble for nothing

After Christmas 1960,when I was 2, my dad planted the Christmas tree in the yard and I was so excited about keeping it that my memories began.

my childhood memory??? when i treat my mom very cold... i was 6 y.o. when she come back to philiipines from singapore... i never knew her... it is because she left me after she gave birth of me & left me with her trusted nanny & relatives... i suffer many bad memories... but my nanny is always there for me... when my mom arrived from the airport, she hugged me but of course not knowing she's ny mom, i run & hide beside my nanny... until now... me & my mom is not close... i always hide everytime she wants to hug me or even kissed me to my cheeks... i not fond treating me like that by my mom... but everytime i hear her tears inside our bathroom because of my attitude... sometimes... my heart melts... but still i love her but not like the love i gave to my girlfriend...

I was on a Train with my mum and her friend and her friends son. we were coming back from Birmingham.

I was laying on a bed. There was my mom's friend, and he had my pacifier on his hand. I wanted it, but he was kind of teasing me with it. There's also a picture of it, and it seems that I'm only a few months old. Not walking or speaking yet.

My 1st birthday and my cousin taking me out of my highchair to play

runnin away from home. I was 4 and i took the cat with me, packed in my suitcase. It made such a fuss i had to take it home again ...by then my mom had baked some cookies and i decided to stay. nobody ever knew..... :)

Dont read this mom!!! :)

Breaking my leg on my aunts trampoline. For the longest time my memory told me that I jumped really high up and i ended up going through a tunnel that was the sun. Don't ask why, that's just how I remember it. I saw the tunnel, then my leg hurt like a *****.

I remember standing in a line in front of the class with some of my classmates in kindergarten. We were getting punished for our little brawl in the school cafeteria. Despite their participation in the real fight, I just happened to join in because I thought everyone was playing Power Rangers.

watching my mother young telling me she was goin to the store to get groceries

I don't remember exactly how old I was, but I was definitly under 2, it was probably right before I started walking a lot. I was crawling around the living room really fast and looking out the window of the condo, I remember everything being so tall.

I remember hearing some guy yellin at this lady about not taking some pill. It's haunted me to this day.

My earliest memory is of me when I was 2 years old...outside playing on my porch. I can remember the red bricks on my porch also the pink and red paint. I was climbing in and out of a big black and gray speckled cast iron pot used to boil lobsters. I had alot of fun inside that pot...it was so big that if I crouched down no one could see I was in there. This is a good example of how a pot amuses a child's mind quicker and longer than a toy can!

When I was almost 2 I remember being at my aunt's house & my dad flying me around like an airplane with sound effects & also that same night me trying to force feed their chihuahua some of my candy.

The JFK assassination because my cartoons PePe LePew was taken off.

I swear I can remember a birthday party. I was sitting in my high chair in our kitchen. There was a cake on the table - my big brother (who would have been 4). My mom handed me a doll. It made a noise when I shook it. So I started smacking its back to make it "cry." I remember mom rushing over and showing me a "better" way to play with the cry babydoll.

No one believes me - they think I just heard the story because it was my first birthday. But I have a LOT of very early memories science says I should not remember. So, who knows?

I'm guessing I was 2-3 years old. I remember "discovering" sunlight could not be caught!

I remember not wanting to be born, I knew my mom didn't want me so I just stayed put until I was forced out. I wouldn't open my eyes after I entered into this world and spent the first 2 weeks of my life in a sort of limbo stuck in a world I didn't want to be in (physical world) and being pushed out of the world I so desperately wanted to stay in (spirit world) I can explain it but I won't because people don't understand this experience. I remember this so vividly and it's so precious to me:)

It's weird I don't remember many 'ordinary' experiences from my first 4 years of my life, but I do remember my spiritual experiences like they happened yesterday....

Coming down this tight tunnel out to the bright light.

I remember our family owned a neighborhood store. I was about two years old and we lived like three or four houses down from where the store was. I always wanted to help in the store so they would let me carry things from the house to the store. Someone from the house would walk me out to the sidewalk with what I was carrying, and one of my older sisters would come out from the store to make sure I made it there. I remember taking my naps there and I would lay under the counter where they used to keep the paper bags. Life was truly simple then.

Shootin out the birth canal.

i was four and i was a bed wetter so mom put a cloth diaper and rubber pants on me and i pooped and peeed in the diaper so she spanked me hard

suddenly there was a very bright light, and someone grabbed me and held me upside down...

what? oh! no not that...

when my sister stuffed me in the closet all afternoon and came back when i was sleeping...

*Spank* "It's a boy!"

I was about 4. My cousin took me to a place , isolated from rest of the house. He then molested me. I was almost crying. When the bugger was donem we went o the lounge where rest of the family members were sitting. I remember i was trying not to let it come on my face what had happened. It was so strange.

Sometimes memory is a bad thing to have

Sitting on the kitchen counter while me and my dad talked about me getting ready for pre-school. Soon after that he left us.

Being held.................................................................................... against my will, let me out of here you basturds!!!

Around three years old! I was standing in the front seat riding somewhere with my oldest brother. Yes standing! Before seat belts were used!

I can remember him making me laugh and playing with me! Ahhhh! Good brother!

On the I was born, the nurses all gathered 'round

And they gazed in wide wonder, at the joy they had found.

The head nurse spoke up, and she said leave this one alone.

She could tell right away, that I was bad to the bone.

i must have been about 2. i remember laying underneath my new brother's crib drinking his bottle and he was crying up above me. i was under there for a while and i don't remember my mom ever coming in... we moved from that house when i was five and i don't remember what my room looked like, but i can picture exactly how his room looked that day from under the crib.

i was 2 and my mom was reading me a story. i sat on her lap as she showed me the pictures. i remember my mom being very cuddly and i'd snuggle her so much that she'd have to tell me to stop because she couldn't read with me moving so much:D i love my mommy and even now, years later, she sometimes lets me sit on her lap, even though i'm a little too big now :)

Getting ready for Halloween as Zorro

Getting yelled at for rubbing Jell-o in my hair. I thought it was funny and my Mom had to fight back the laughter.

waking up after nap time in class to find all the kids went outside to play and i was the only one there

i was just a young chick, having just pecked my way out of my shell. i was bald and cold and hungry! i squawked with my mouth continually open, and mother cramming grubs and vegetation from DrewBerry's garden in my mouth as quickly as she could. PurpleButterly's offspring were especially delicious.

When I was a young kid, I lived at the end of a dead end street. When it would snow, my dad would get out his tractor with the snow plow on it, and plow the street.

While he was doing this, he'd hook up the sleds of me, my brohter and all the kids in the neighborhood in a line behind the tractor and spend HOURS pulling us all up and down the street behind the tractor, while he snow-plowed the street. He'd chug along, dragging 6-10 little kids on sleds behind him. We ALL LOVED it! We ALL looked forward to it.

When dad got tired, he'd bring us all back to our house. My mom would be waiting in the warm house with the fireplace going. She'd have hot cocoa and snacks (cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats made from scratch) waiting for us all. The kids and dad would devour everything while sitting in front of the warm fireplace. We'd line our cold, wet mittens & scarves along the fireplace hearth to dry, while we ate and drank our hot cocoa.

Then the kids would grab their sleds and walk home.

My earilest? I'm sure I've blocked it out

The death of my great-grandmother in 1974, shortly after the soccer world championship in germany, where I live.

I was at home, when I was told, that my great-grandmother had died while waiting for the bus.

Being at the beach with my grandmother, father, mother and younger brother. We got stuck and my grandmother told us to rock to help dad move. I remember she brought us an orange crush, plain chips and a bar six. We had enjoyed a great day at the beach it was a great memory.

Wearing the most beautiful yellow dress with flowers on it, and spending the day playing games with my older sister. I was three at the time.

I couldn't tell you exactly how old I was, but I distinctly remember it being very warm secure place, must have been summer.

The sky was dark, but I could catch shadows of light every now and then through the muffled and rhythmic sounds that soothed me in the background. We must have been on a ship or something, because I distinctly remember gentle rocking waves.

The moment sticks out because all that comfortable bliss suddenly changed when I felt like I was squeezed out of a bananna peel into a cold starkly bright environment. It was loud and obnoxious. I wanted to go back.

Life hasn't been the same since.

First day at school...cried & kicked my teacher!! Disliked school from day 1. :-(

Funny you should ask. My sister posted a question in Facebook (How did we meet?). For years I have said that my oldest memory was bringing her home from the hospital when she was born. I am two years, one month, and six days older than she is. I remember looking over the back of the seat at my mother holding her. I was with my brother, who was four and a half by then. I never understood the logistics of the scene. Where could I stand to look into the front seat? On the floor, I was too short. Standing on the back seat, I would be too far back to hang over the seat back. My brother answered the question. We were in the front seat, probably for the first time, looking into the backseat. My first memory.

The earliest memory I have is actually a dream from my childhood. I was about three and I remember it vividly. I was at a florist shop but instead of rows of flowers they had those clear frozen food windows that you find in the frozen food section of the grocery store. They were filled with water and fish were swimming in them. I thought it looked fun so I jumped into one of them and started wading through the water inside the frozen food things and the fish started sucking on my toes. I didn't like it but I kept wading through them behind the windows. Then I woke up.
