I AM A VIRGO

I don't. I need to read through some of these answers and see which one will work best for me.

Actually, I don't.

I keep a notebook and I pray first thing in am and last thing at night Gods always helps me,

i dont know. but somehow i do.

My organizational system is structured on my levels. On the bottom is things I don't use very often. The next la<x>yer is things I use once in awhile. On top is things I use all the time. Which stack it is in is a whole different question.

i just know what i have to do and then do them one at a time, till everything is done. i do this every day so things wont pile up for me.

Every so often I buy an bunch of BIG trash bags, throw everything in my place into them, put it out for the trashman, then start again...

It's not too much of a challenge when you are a professional like me-fire alarm- Oops...toast is done...a little crunchy! What were we talking about again? -telephone ring- I'm runing a little late...Can I answer this question later?

I have a lotus notes calender at work which i sync with my ipod every couple of days. It tells me what i'm doing and when I'm doing it for both work and private tasks. I do my darndest to keep all appointments and to do lists I make.

i try not to be too organized. so i end up being un-organized.sometimes i am so un-organized i cannot even answer a simple question.

Try and get enough sleep and keep mental priority lists

By keeping my life simple, I could and have lived out of a suitcase for months at a time.

now, where do I find that comment box?

I usually use a weekly planner, but besides that, I'm somewhat disorganized lately. I've always been organized, though.

I don't deal with anyone who is not organized it helps keep me right.

Bah...Organisation. I don't need it. You should see my bag XP.....

Although ever since I made a kind of planner for my college work, I've actually been doing some work. Is a good start...

Short and sweet: I have a place where everything goes, I put it there, keep it there, and put it back after each use.

keep do you how organized yourself..? i should just give up

Well, I really don't know how I keep myself organized. When I first get up of the morning I pretty much do the same things in the order I done them the day before, so maybe that helps keep my time organized.

Why put off today, What you can put tomorrow?

I just don't. It's a weird sort of "God looks after fools and babies" system. I put something into the horrific wreck that is my room and if I need it again, it shows up after some searching.

I have a huge calendar with everyone in the house's names on it - and what they are doing that day - that inclused things that need to be done or taken care of. I also have a cleaning schedule so that everything gets done in rotation - that seems to help. I sure wish I had more room, though, so I had a place for everything and everything in it's place!

Lists lists lists. Post it notes when necessary . I Try to have a place for everything and put things back where they belong.

write things on calendars, keep a journal, Refridgerator magnets help a lot.

I try to develop a somewhat of a structure to my days, to build in walks, positive liesure, entertainment and self pampering i.e like Sunday walks, Friday Fish Frys, movie night, bubble bath nights etc keep holidays recognized in some way to celebrate mark the passage of time.

[[running in circles in panic]] "HELP!! where's my head?! where's my head?! i must of put it somewhere.......gotta find it!! gotta remember....."

Planning the things ahead...and hopefully nothing comes up to change them! ;-)

I use motivation to to be organized some of us are more organized than others some are naturals at it

I keep myself organized by lying around on the couch all day answering stupid questions online.

That is a good question......

1. I ask my wife to remind me of things

2. I write things down

3. I commit things to memory

4. I write things down

Routine...I establish and set a routine and make it habit. Listing and prioritizing. Once the priority of a task is set, then it can be placed into the routine with the appropriate urgency.

Running a business...there are "MUST DOs" that have to be looked at, addressed and tended to every day. Everything else gets it's place in the priority list.

The only thing that trumps the routine is SYNCHRONICITY. When something shows up like a miracle...everything else gets put on hold. You HAVE to respond to miracles in the moment.

“The search for lost things is hindered by routine habits, and that is why it is so difficult to find them.” Gabriel Garcia Marquez

This quote, explains WHY SYNCHRONICITY must always TRUMP ROUTINE. Treasures are discovered via following the synchronicity.

I'm a well organized mess ... piles, buckets, boxes, binders; I now where to find what I'm looking for..

I set up and perform rituals to handle the day to day necessities. I tend to be unfocused and disorganized but having regular duties that can be performed out of habit helps me to function fairly well.

well, i keep my papers in different folders and that's it. most are papers and files on a computer. different folders too. oh and production discs in different cases. the rest are in a organized chaos.

Thank you. Most are too disorganized to notice...

with lots of little messy piles all around the place

that sounds like a **** on the floor or something

I make to do lists, use bins and folders, toss out some stuff, organize by color and category, take breaks and come back to it.

I use my brain most of the time but do also use a calender and my cell phone from time to time.

i keep organised by planning what i do on a daily basis from since i was a teenager, and now that i am a grown person with aduilt children its no different, on sundays. i prepare in advance what for dinner and leave it, example if im doing chicken , take it out saturday night, season sunday mornig , at 8 i do the ironing, and at 9.30 i may lawn my yard, 2 i start cooking and by 3,30 im finish, then i may fold the lawnry, then i have the rest of the day to relax. i cook for sunday and monday and refrigerate it, heat it on mondays. monday it go to work from 8.to 4.30 , right through the w eek ontil thursday. friday from 8.to 3pm. from monday to friday, i spend 1hour and half at the gym, and i do that in my lunch time. i wash on thrusdays and go to the super market on thursday at 7 in the morning, i clean on thrusday evenings, and cook for friday and saturday, and what i do at clock work, every week the same things so it ;plan ahead, so i havea lot free time for myself, i study at work on a online course which has to do with my job, i find time to do recreational things with my family, go to the beach, i love watching good movies , and i love cooking, i pay my pills on a regular month end basis, and i am happy the way things are right now, and in he eveningslately for the pass week i have been sleeping with my age mom and invalid brother to take care of his needs, and that how keep organised. i dont have a book to say i keep notes in as to what i do, its all in my head, i shop out of my head too. not books not notes no nothing i have a realy good memory and i am using it as long as i possible can, and im 50 years old.

I do pre-planning, I write and keep a daily log on where I have to be, or I use my cell-phone for time and places I have to be. I also, use a calendar, with dates circled, and it's planned down to the minute.

I keep maps with important papers, I keep to-do-lists, I put little notes everywhere of important stuff I got to do.

Organising is not the problem, it's just that I tend to forget to fill in my to-do-lists and lose the whole map, to find it a week to late under my bed.
