Any Thoughts On Me Becoming A Lawyer...

I am graduating in about a month from grade 11, I am also doing some grade 12 classes. I turn 16 in July so I will be done high school before I am 17. School has always been something that is very important to me, and I have always put a lot of effort into it. So I was thinking after I graduate to go to law school. It is just a thought, so I would like to know your opinions. Is it a good or bad idea and why do you think that. Any other advice or career tipsoptions

Hi. I am an attorney in Puerto Rico and have been in practice for 30 years. I must say that the best part about being an attorney is the challenge. True one does make money and lives well but the most satisfying thing is the challenge of the legal system and the look on your clients face before the court date and after the court date. Its night and day. It's the beat feeling knowing you did some justice for someone. Go for it...

I don't know about your educational system in your place, but just like what this CharlieTheBeagle dude said: You can only think about it right after you finish your college. That is, if law schools there require you to have a college degree.

Most law school entrance requirements include graduation from a 4-year college or university. So it is not something you do right out of high school.
