I'll Make It Someday

I was never the kind of kid who'd have a straight answer when asked what I wanted to be when i grew up. The answer always varied because I felt the world was filled with endless possibilities and it would be boring to be the same thing for the rest of your life.

As one can imagine, this turned out to be a problem since one day you'll have to make a decision to have a stable life. Unfortunately, it never really happened to me, while I hopped from one profession to another. I have never earned a lot of money or got satisfied from what I was doing in any of those professions.

Just recently the epiphany stroke me and I finally found what would make me satisfied to work with: sex therapy. By sex therapy I mean working directly with people having problems with their sex and/or love life to find a balanced way of pursuing happiness. That's because I feel sex is misunderstood by society and I wish it was different, so I want to be a part of this change.

Its a little spooky, reading a story that could have come out of your own head... I've also only recently realised that this is what I want to do. I would love to be able to help people feel fulfilled and alive and healed and whole this way. For me it seems like the most impossible dream, I don't have any helpful training... I have a degree in English! :/ Have you pursued this any further? What does one need to do?
