Leaving Las Vegas

that woman,in vegas, she had destroyed me.it had been all a set up,it seemed.i asked her to marry me,and said yes, then she dissapeared, leaving me in some hotel,in neveda.i might as well have been on the moon.took me 6 months to get over that.looking back,it was a wonder i got out of that city alive.hitchiking back to ny city, took me 3 days.the countryside becoming ever so greener,as i limped my way east.

The country side is always greener, once you leave Nevada. I live outside of Reno. Nothing but desert and a bad economy.
