Since I Was Little...

... I always wanted to be the first person on Mars. I've read so many books about space travel. I always thought it was the coolest thing. I used to have this recurring dream, too, that I would be sent into deep space exploration, trying to find new worlds and such for our species, and that I would have to leave everything behind. I would not be alone, there would be a crew with me of 7 others, but I would have to leave everything else I ever knew behind. My family, my friends, my home, the trees and forests, the oceans and rivers... never again. But I also remembered that it wasn't that hard of a decision for me to make. It was hard to explain to everyone, and it was harder for everyone else to let go... but I had a duty to perform and a destiny in front of me. I would gladly blast off into space into the great beyond. But Mars would be cool, too. I'd love to be able to visit it.

Yeah, that was a great movie. A classic! You know, I'm still very young and impressionable... but there is something I've learned. It's never to give up. Not even at the very last second when all hope seems lost. Sometimes you end up being quite surprised. I've already found myself in places I never thought I'd ever be, or could be. Life sure is weird. But it takes people places. Who knows?

Well,I love 2001:a space odyssey,I know it will be impossible for me to travel to Mars...<br />
I think it's the most important thing for human beings to learn who we are and how far we can go,what a shame I will never be able to be an astronaut...
