I'm a 32 year old mom with 3 children. I was diagnosed with brain cancer stage 4 glioblastoma multiform when I was 31 weeks pregnant. The doctors immediately wanted to take my little girl by cesarean.because if they didnt remove the tumor. My daughter was in the NICU for 4 weeks. I had to go through 30 doses of radiation. Took a month off then 5 doses of chemottherapy for 6 months. The doctors didn't think that I probably wouldn of made it another 2 weeks. Here I am a year later. My daughter is home and healthy. I have had clear MRI's since. My positive attitude is what got me here today. My husband has been working 60 hours a week. I have been making my youngest to daycare (my 3 year old and 1 year old) so I can rest. I am working 9 hours a week with the special needs. To get out ( that's my social life) I just want to share this story with other people. Because I get more hope when I hear inspiring stories about gbm stage 4. When you look it up. It's scary, tells you that its the most aggressive brain cancer there is. I thank god for giving me a 2nd chance.
