Hey! My Boyfriend just left for Fort Benning GA. I'm Missing him already. Do you have any advice for me at all?

My boyfriend was at Ft. Benning last year for boot camp. His graduation was beautiful and I wanted to look special for him but I drove up that night/morning from South Florida so by the time I got there my clothes were messed up and my hair was completely a mess but he looked at me, smiled told me I was beautiful and that he missed me.

I said this to say that your man loves you the way that you are (or he would not have chosen to be with you) and he will love you if you get in better shape.

For the young lady who just had a boyfriend leave for Ft. Benning all I can tell you is hang in there. Send him letters and a care package every now and then. He will not be able to write you letters alot but he will look forward to hearing from you.

Have fun, be patient and look forward to seeing him again - it will be worth the wait.

My husband finished Basic and fort benning... I I just wanted to be speciel for him... i went and got my cut... dressed up the whole works.... then his whole graduation it was pouring. lol... when I got to see him he would have cared less that i was soaked and we laugh about it to this day.. Your guy loves u not ur clothes or makeup

hey girly so all these girls have great storys lol figure ill add mine.... my fiance was at ft benning last summer me and my mom flew down which took for ever live in az and literally flew 4 flights and hadnt slept over 24hrs just to see him graduate i flew cross the counrty pretty much lol... anyways i had drivin 4hrs from alabama to ft benning after being in a plane for 10hrs and staid in this ghetto motel which totally did not look anything like the picture on the web site, got 5hrs sleep had to wake up hella early to get ready and be out the door but 7 i got all dresses up heels beautiful summer dress and my hair was nice and curled i was all done up just to walk out side lol georgia is VERY humid so my hair almost instantly got frizzy i was sweating like a pig and my make up started to drain i was so upset about the way i looked... after i got to the base lol i looked around all the other girlfriends and wives were in tangtops and shorts and running shoes i felt like a over dressed fool with clown makeup running down my face lmao but my soldier was amazed he keplt telling me how beautiful i was and what i ment to him i thouguht he was crazy i looked a fool but then i realized he has been through hell for 3months and i was the only person there to be his rock, and that made me feel better... ur soldier wouldnt care if u wore sweats and a beat up tee he just wants you in his arms and to know he still has your love.... so work out for you make you feel better because the better you feel about you the more he is gonna see that confidence and love you stronger and harder... hes off playin soldier take care of you while he is gone.... and just love him....
