:/

This group breaks my heart, even if I don't know any of the members.

What a terrible emotion to have to feel.

regardless of how we may look at it.. .
.. . comparisons and competitions are part of us and looks is just one of the many
it's not just advertising, it lived through the ages since.. .
we would always have standards, but those standards changes overtime

i think the issue lies also within ourselves on how we view what were supposed to ignore..
.. . being just aware doesn't really make us any less contributors to the problem

just look at some members of this group for example.. .
.. . exactly what part of them are ugly? .. . i don't see it
so do are these dissensions happen in real life

.. . our obsession with their obsession has long became obsessive .. . *ᴥ* ...

Yes, sherry said it very well. eventually when we are all covered with nuclear winter snow, we'll all look the same.

I agree 100 % with silentvoices. I have met some beautiful looking people in this world but once I got to know them their beauty disappeared, and I've met some people that are not as easy on the eyes as the beautiful people and once I got to know them they were more beyond beautiful.

when we will worship face beauty . then it will break hearts daily ... real beauty exist inside.. no body see his/her face in his own true mirror.

Sure is.

I agree also. And the picture scares me lots.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Often times I've looked in the mirror and turned away in anger and frustration at my reflection, and its so terrible to know that I am not the only one. I think inside, many people value personality more than, if not just as much as appearance. Its just popular culture that suggests otherwise. And people seem to regard popular culture as comprising the entire culture, when in reality, its just people who want to make money by advertising and cashing in on others' reactions.
