Death According To…

Webster’s New World Medical Dictionary:

Death: 1. The end of life. The cessation of life. (These common definitions of death ultimately depend upon the definition of life, upon which there is no consensus.) 2. The permanent cessation of all vital bodily functions. (This definition depends upon the definition of "vital bodily functions.")

Death is the permanent end of the life of a biological organism. Death may refer to the end of life as either an event or condition

Death is peace, no more hurt, no crying, no sad for unknown reasons, no hating the world just because, no wanting to crash, jump, drown, cut, shoot yourself, no feeling unwanted, unneeded, unknown… invisible.

I'm so disappointed.

I should be relieved that I am not entirely alone. That others feel the same as I do -- especially others who are so beautifully capable of expressing their hopelessness.

Instead, I am deeply saddened. No one seems to have discovered another way out of the Wastelands that doesn't leave one numb, drugged, and/or just holding on.

I agree with the "peaceful" comment.

that girl hit it right on the head.

death to me is peace, silence, no more pain, no headaches, no worries, no bills, no work, no faking, no being lied to, why does death seem so bad to so many others? it must be nice to live like tomorrow is worth living for because hell is now for me

Good for you SP, peace is a god-like you said, it isn't so concretely the cessation of breath or blood mechanics-it is the end of a condition or event...

...i'm not... i stopped fighting, just along for the ride, where ever it may take me. I know that i'm not afraid anymore and that is a good thing. One day at a time is all i can offer...

Ahhhh, the sweet release of Death, and end to all pain and suffering. And end to persecution, release from hatred, oh to fly over the stars and be free of sorrow, pain, loathing, hatred, fear, paranoia, disappointment, failure, rejection...Death, its cool embrace, it sweet sleep. Come, Oh Death, verily verily I come to thee....unfortunately I shall remain, and diminish, until the sweet release of death comes for me.

In the end, do you think it will be worth it?
