Never heard about it, but seems like something that would interest me as well. Let me know if you get a chance to read it.

Will do, I plan on ordering it when I make my next book extravaganza purchase in a week or so!

And as stupid as this is going to sound coming from me... I am hoping it has some information in there to depart to my Man. He is falling off the deep end of sadism as of late and well, quite frankly, I need to reel him back in a touch! Not control him, just reel him in a little!

I have a friend that wrote a book that is pretty good. You might find it interesting.

Nope, but I do have some piece of advice: don't assume anything by De Sade is actually BDSM-related. :-p
I have no idea why people think reading De Sade has anything to do with sadomasochism...

What I thought was a good read was The Mastery of Submission: Inventions of Masochism by Sina-Aline Geisler.
Or if you happen to be able to read in German: the German title is Lust an der Unterwerfung: Frauen bekennen sich zum Masochismus.

It's a collection of stories by women how they discovered their submissiveness/masochism and telling their journey in discovering the lifestyle.

ROFL! Uh Scar? I have a little experience with SM... LOL!

I have a tendency to stay away from books pertaining to masochism. I have always stood behind that I am not a masochist except for during sex. I like a bit of the pain that comes from non-sexually orientated exploits as long as it stays within my reasonable limits today. I was not as smart and way to complicit during the first several years.

I will check this book out though that you mention. Mainly because I live with someone who does enjoy the pain even though I don't play Domme for him... expect in the mornings when his happy *** won't get out of bed! /giggle

De Sade was a sociopath. Anything that even suggests or hints of his name usually makes me stop reading it!
