Still Have A While

I'm a 17 year old high school senior. I've got into some pretty good colleges that I'm excited to attend in the fall...even though I'm not sure which one exactly I want to go to.

I'm interested in studying business and hopefully I will one day become an important member of a big corporation (a corporation that is good for this country - not like Wal-Mart).

Although the money is nice, I think being happy with your job is VERY important. I think I would rather take a low paying job but have fun and be happy with it than a high paying job that I hate (all within reason of course).

Because when it comes down to it and I'm in the hospital with a few hours to live I would rather think back at my life and be happy that I was poor than be miserable although I was rich.

Dear young one, if I could tell my 17-yr-old self what you have already discovered, my life could have turned out very differently :) Follow your bliss as long as you can, life is too short :)

yep..go for what you will be happy at.Working in a miserable job slowly sucks the life out of us. Believe it!
