Plz Help Me Out

A personal story in the experience: I Want to Get Help For My Problems

Myself rakshitha..I am the only kid to my parents..my father is an agriculturist and my mother is a house wife..I am an average student.. i have done my graduation in computer science..well i am to shyish kind of girl..i am reserved..when i was smaill i never mingled wid people..to this day i feel very uncomfortable wid people..i dont have a smiling face..i look sad always..i cry for silly reasons...i hate meeting people.. i dont even feel like speaking to people who come to our house as guest..i have a very big people..but still i close to only 2 to three..i have less friends..i talk very less..my voice is too low..wid girls i get mingled to certain extent..wid boys its even worst..i am not that smart and charming..all these were ok till now..now that i have finished my graduation i am searching for job..but i am not getting through any interview..i attended around 20 s/w companies..but i did not get placed any where....all my relatives and friends tell that i did not get placed because of my above nature..to certain extent even i feel so..i badly want a job..plz guide me how to over come my shyish nature..i want to be as charming and smart as others..but i dont know how to change my nature..plzzzzzzzzz help me out...

Hi rakshitha!!

You need to completely overhaul your feelings. And it should be urgently done. Ask yourself some questions and preferaby write their answers down.

1) Why do you feel shy?
2) What is your greatest fear?
3) Why do you feel sad so often, why do cry for silly things?
4) Why don't you want to meet people, why do you feel uncomfortable around them?

The purpose of the above excersice is to make yourself aware of your feelings. Why do you behave the way you behave? You should know the answer.

Then the next step would be to write down the desired state of being with respect to each of the above questions. You should write down, that you need a job, and for that you'll have to learn to mingle with people, and to do that you'll have to wipe out the factors that prevent you from doing what you want to do.

The factors that you would want to get rid of, would be internal as well as external in nature. You should first focus on the internal ones, and once you do that, the external ones would be just taken care of by you effortlessly.

You need to tell yourself that you do not want to feel shy from now on, you do not want to cry for little little things, tell yourself you are friendly, you are smart, just start feeling differently about yourself and do things that make you happy.
