Am I Foolish?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 years and we are in love and always talk about our future together. We know we will marry each other and be together for the rest of our lives but until we are ready for that stage in our life, we are just a young couple, both 20 years old nearing our 21st birthdays. He just joined the Navy so he can better our future together and I am going to school to do what I love. But I just want to get married to him already, he is my one true love. I am an old soul, I should have been born decades ago and I am a hopeless romantic. I just want to be his wife and live with him, wake up to him everyday and eventually have kids. I'm impatient. Or am I foolish?

I suggest waiting for now. Marriage doesn't necessarily make love grow stronger. Both of you are experiencing major changes in your lives and your interests may change dramatically. See what happens when the dust settles. If you're still that much in love, then give it a try.

thank you for your insight :]

You're welcome. In many ways, I wish I had waited.

I hope you find peace in that, and find your way, there is a plan for all of us :]
