'' I Went On My Trip But In A Plane ''

I am feeling pretty good after my planned trip.

My mother passed away last year on May 10, 2011.

Two days after Mothers' Day, the last day we spoke.

My mother is a Native American from  the Chickasaw Tribe in Oklahoma.

Some will say she was a Native American since she has passed, but I choose to say she is a Native American.

Any way, as some of us Natives do when their Elder has passed, is show RESPECT for their loved one,

some do not speak the name of their deseased for one year, for fear that this may hold them back from going
into their after life.

This was not the case in my loss of my mother, whom I had for 58 years and being the
oldest child of 6 children.

I went to Oklahoma, my mothers birth state to give Praise to my mothers life on Mothers' Day and to celebrate her passing into the Lords hands.

It has been one year now and since I just got back Iam feeling alive again, she is with me in spirit and I am not sad anymore.

I am hanging up family photos which I could not do before, and yes I had tears but they were good tears.

GOOD BYE MOM.....I'LL SEE YOU WHEN IT IS MY TIME.......
