She Calls To Me

When I imagine my trips to Ireland I feel peace, relaxation and a sense of home coming even though I've never been there. I picture myself visiting sheep dotted hill partitioned by stone walls. I see in my mind's eye crumbling castle ruins, homey pubs, small towns and tiny villages. I imagine living as a local and soaking in the culture and history of my ancestor's homeland. I can't wait to see how and where my ancestors lived. Few places in the world call to me as Ireland does; she calls with a sense of familiarity. Someday I will see Ireland and when I do I hope I am able to take the time to wander where I please and to marvel at what I see.
