f I heard it once, I would stop doubting myself and I'd be more confident. I hate feeling so insecure all the time. When I truly feel beautiful I just break myself down about it and think of all the reasons why I'm not, thats why I hate my mind, I just bring myself up just to break myself down again, and I'm not going to lie, it sucks.
I think if i were to recieve that compliment, I won't ever doubt myself again because I know that one person does think I'm beautiful, inside and out. To think, one person holds that power in the palm of their hand and they don't use it.
To whoever reads this: Tomorrow, go up to a random person and tell them that they are beautiful, and be completely serious about it. You have no idea how much that could affect their lives. They won't forget your kind gesture, ever.

  | Posted Jan 28th, 2009 at 10:36AM I'm not so sure about that. I am assuming that you are young and that may have a lot to do with it. There is no shortage of men who will tell a woman she is pretty just to get whatever they can from them. Many older women are very tired of being told they are beautiful on the outside and are looking for someone who likes what they see on the inside. It's really what matters anyway. Beauty is fleeting.   |
