That had to be such a hard experience to go through; it's crazy that an allergic reaction can have such an effect on someone! I hope you're completely healed and doing much better now; I'm not religious but prayers be with you.

    I have to agree.
I do not think I would be here today if from the day, my grand parents found out I was alive and in a coma back in 1967 someone had not sat beside my bed 24 hours a day
after a person sitting there they had to do their job and provide care.

As I say this after many years or working within the system, those with the screaky wheels get the care while the quiet ones get pushed to the side in my case someone besides my bed was the screaky wheel.

I am very sure I would have died from the infection running through my body from the water and mud and the things that grew in that rice Paddie we crashed into killing 13 out of 15 people that morning.

You are an amazing woman. Our health issues can present some big trials. I am glad you are up and walking in your dresses. It is wonderful what a dress or other clothes can do for our mental health. Keep on living.

It is wonderful. I have long been treated for depression, but since my transition even my shrink has acknowleged my improvement. He recently reduced my antidepressant dosage an I feel much better

I'm finding out more and more that you're quite a brave and strong person. Some people would say (oh he dresses like woman he must be weak and beneath us) but the truth is maybe it takes a stronger person to do what you are doing. LIVING!!!!!!

In many ways it does. A lived a full and adventuresome life as a man and have posted about it here in many places. I feel much more fulfilled as a woman now though and I really enjoy wearing skirts and dresses
