Iza Loves Bees

A personal story in the experience: I Want to Help the Honey Bees
i support helping the honey bees.  i mean, they are responsible for all my favorite stuff.  like food.  i can live on fruit.  honey.  bee pollen.  i mean, its yummy & healthy for you.  i can't imagine a world without my beautiful yellow & black friends.  they pollenate our vegetation.  they directly effect the economy.  saving the bees saves us.  it saves our animals.  it saves our crops.  it saves money.  i don't want the bees to be gone forever.  i am ready to do my part to help.

I think you mean "bee pollen" and not "pee pollen" -- but thanks for showing your support.

I don't know if you have checked it out, but as part of our efforts to raise awareness, EP and HD have joined forces and created the following action and involvement center:

Cheers! And thanks for your support!

I will do my best to help the honey bees but our tropical eco-system here in Singapore doesn't seem to depend on honey bees. I can't remember the last time I saw a bee in Singapore, I think it was when I was 15 years old and stepped on one at the swimming pool and did the "one-legged kangaroo dance" thing (from the pain of being stung).

Fruit trees and flowering plants grow overnight -- eg. there is a uncontrolled PINEAPPLE GROVE in the garden of my family house, which is not 5 minutes from one of the busiest shopping streets in Singapore.

Yesterday I was looking at one of the trees in the garden -- after clipping my car on some low-growing branches, dammit! -- and noticed maybe 15 different plant species growing on the branches. Including a really sweet little wild orchid which is blooming. I have the strange feeling that our plants depend on fruit bats and birds instead of cute honey bees.

Love,
Andrew
