It Just Didn't Seem The Easiest Thing.

In my teenage years I always had good friends but I was very much a stay at home girl, I wouldn't be out every weekend. I spent a lot of time in my room, and I was fairly content although I would get bored or lonely sometimes. It wasn't that I was antisocial, it just seemed that I saw my friends when I was at school or college and there weren't always a lot of plans that were made outside of that. I never got a job until I was 18 either. I felt that seeing as I studied full time I didn't want to work too, and when I DID go out asking about things I wasn't old enough or nothing going! Money was therefore harder to get and would be earned through chores around the house. When I started college I was also split up from my best friends in school, and the new best friend I had was a girl who lived in another town and not locally, which meant I couldn't simply pop over the road and see her. She is still close now but since getting into employment I am kept busier as I often work the weekends and have the friends I've made through that too, so my social life is generally better!
