I just ask that the name of the group be changed buddy. I don't care about any of the comments.

There are hundreds of people on this site that claim or believe themselves to be tea party people.

I wouldn't call any of them idiots, much less all of them. I think it is in bad taste and childish.

Also seems to be against EP policy.

I love civil discourse.......... I think it should be the law of the land.....maybe then we could stop all the name calling on the political field in America and get back to cooperation the way it use to be.

@ arsineh: what about those that use people's names or initials in a derogatory way in their comments on stories? isn't that against terms also? i don't know how many times i've encountered this, flagged the particular comment but yet it continues to stand.

Calling people names is borderline free speech.

It is okay in middle school but after high school it just becomes childish.

Politics can be discussed without childish name calling.

I have stooped to name calling in a few comments here and there, but only those following the story see the comments. Childish group creations are seen by many more people.

I don't think I have any stories or groups that resort to name calling.

Above this story it says 1 of big number of stories from the group and gives the group title. If you click on that group title you are taken to a page with flag as the last option of several given under the group name. So flag the offensive groups and hope EP deals properly.

I hope the protection against name calling and degradation is extended to include adults who practice non-mainstream aspects of human sexuality, alternative religious beliefs (or lack of religious beliefs), etc. when the targeting violates the EP TOS. Members of these groups are regularly the subject of harassment and degradation, both public and private.

I think it's outside the given TOS to set up groups for outting individuals. I can agree with that. People are entirely too judgmental as soon as there are two or more of them, it seems.

I will look again but I didn't see a flag option on the group page.

Yes-groups like stories and other content on EP should be flagged if they violate EP terms.



Once a group is flagged EP staff can review and delete the group and if needed the member responsible for creating the group.



We don't allow name calling and personal attacks, so if you see this happening in the form of a group title, please flag the group.



That said, we don't have the same view and perspective on life and our experiences are unique. Just because you disagree with a group doesn't mean it should be flagged but if you think it maybe violating EP terms, please flag it so that staff can review the group.
